Providing Child Care That Is Safe, Respectful and Nurturing
Wonders is one of the largest, non-profit child care organizations in Montgomery County and the District of Columbia, and for more than 30 years we've been providing a safe, nurturing environment parents can trust and depend upon. We're respected as being an integral part of the overall community, serve more than 600 families, and are acknowledged for our commitment to a philosophy of multicultural education.

"Wonders is like a part of our own family ! . . . "

. . . It's something we often hear from the many parents who value our pre-K, early childhood, school age and summer camp services. Throughout the community, we operate ten sites that include a wide range of age-appropriate programs designed to embrace the cultures of the families we serve, and also the larger world beyond us. To these ends, the on-going evolution of our programs is guided by the Wonders Diversity Committee, which is comprised of teachers, directors and administrators who ensure themes of sharing, fairness and anti-bias are integrated into our curriculum to create a positive transition between home and school.

Wonders Teachers: Committed to Multicultural Philosophy

Throughout our ten sites, and complementary to our teaching philosophy, our highly-accredited Wonders teachers come from diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences. Many remain with us from year to year and, in turn, we demonstrate our appreciation by providing a stimulating working environment, with salary/benefit packages that recognize a continuing dedication to Wonders.
