Wonders History

Seven children. One classroom. That’s how Wonders began in 1976. Today, we offer early childhood education at nine sites in Montgomery County and Washington, D.C. Programs offered are infant/toddler care, early childhood education and school-age care, including summer camp and after-school enrichment classes.

Known originally as ASAD, in 2006 we became Wonders – a name that captures all the infinite promise and possibilities inherent in a child’s formative years. In 2011, we celebrated 35 years of providing quality child care!
